Restoring connection with country
This is the masterplan proposed as a new entry to Monash University that will come with the new train station just across the road of the campus. The project intends to increase spaces for study and socialising connected to nature. To keep with the theme of the studio of ' lost lands found', this project connects to the Indigenous garden and extends its woodlands.
Garden diversity
The Beth Gott garden included types of vegetation as showed in the image. The highlighted areas are the currently existing zones for this vegetations and the dots are the way the types of vegetations will be expanded and distributed with the project.
The Indigenous Garden
In this project, the garden reflects the characteristics of each type of vegetation class and at the same time provide spaces of rest within visually diverse nature.

In the spirit of reconciliation Monash University acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We pay our respect to their elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
