Caulfield Civility Center (3C)

Caulfield Civility Center rethinking the civic architectural space, using the swimming pool as a medium to create a Gateway connecting the community and Caulfield Racecourse. The three central circles are the geometry
of the main public spaces to activate the new community mode. The combination of the three public spaces with the associated private spaces highlights the hierarchy while incorporating the outdoor spaces to form a connection point into the Racecourse.

The curved roof attempts to com- bine height changes to accentuate the three circles. The back-and- forth change in height connects the spatial thresholds and weakens
the boundaries of the closed race- course.

Elevation of 3C

The view into the building is narrowed down and then expanded with the organic roof, balancing the building and the landscape, and integrating natural and human sys- tems in a wrapping way.
