The Platform. Axonometric drawing.

The proposal provides a space for the people of Victoria to meet and share their very diverse but critical political opinions about the Latrobe Valley coal mining industry and beyond. The curtain structure transforms fluidly through four key phases to illustrate the complex nature of agnostic conversation.

The Platform. Illustrative Perspective.

This illustrative perspective aims to capture the narrative aspect of the design, whereby the proposal begins to conceptually illustrate the complicated social reality of the Latrobe Valley and Victoria.

The Platform. Section B.

The deck submerges into the pond which enables water to flood in depending on how high the pond water level rises on that particular day. This stimulates the users with the resource and aims to expose water level rise, a climate consequence of human actions such as coal mining.
