EXCESS CARBON' BANQUENT ---a diplomatic space in exhibition
SITE: 27 Marker Rd Melbourne Airport, Victoria
The project is to transform a fossil fuel storage site into an ironic exhibition. Its purpose is to stimulate reflection and discussion between existing brown (fossil fuel) industry entrepreneurs and a new generation of entrepreneurs in the industry, while providing the government with a leading and sustainable transformation plan. To shape a climate environment, a space for fossil fuel energy to dialogue with the industry, inviting the masses to participate in their conflicts and collisions through webcasts.

DINER

The journey will officially begin with dinner. Through 20 creative dishes, each company's current oil industry scale, country, origin, and industry development are presented.

As a "homage" to these companies' long history of extracting large amounts of oil and pioneering the fossil fuel industry, each dish contains elements of "petroleum" (black edible colouring). When the representatives dine, the pure white tablecloths, suits and dresses will be stained with black oil stains, and the 'oil stains' will continue to spread into the surrounding space.

congress'

Then the meeting spaces that entrepreneurs are all too familiar with. A conference table made of tree stumps, and relevant content about "The Paris Agreement" is played, and participants are invited to record the meeting with charcoal. At the same time as the meeting takes place, the circular air-conditioning fan above blows black smoke, and with the entwined 'oil' decoration, the visitors are shrouded in black shadows. These displays satirize entrepreneurs who hold environmental conferences while also creating more carbon emissions.

WAX WORK MUSEUM

Inspired by the prop 'human statue' from the 'And Then There Were None' movie, the 20 sculptures adorned with fossil fuel company logos that dominate the space are intended to create a wax museum that increases the guilt of guests.

OIL MINE BAR

The main feature of the Oil mine bar is an underground mine structure simulated with concrete.

GREENHOUSE BAR

The warm orange light is concentrated into the shape of the sun in the Greenhouse bar, and when the heat wave hits, the surviving plants need to be placed in a green glass box to take care of.
