The aim of the project is to build a type of pre-fabricated and modular residence which has the flexibility and sustainability. The project is a sort of townhouse, it can quick transform between single living mode and family living mode. By removing or installing the indoor flexible wall panels, the building is able to change the use mode. The project use the sustainable materials and operate as the sustainable mode. In the single living mode, the building is separate into three parts for three people use. In the family living mode, the family can use the whole building. According to resident’s demands, the building can customise different area of rooms.

The image shows the overall appearance of the living environment.

By removing or installing the indoor flexible wall panels, the building is able to change the use mode. The grids represent tracks on the ceiling. The blue lines in grids represent the connection modes of flexible wall panels that in the tracks.

The detailed section shows two building use modes. Site plan and site section show the relation with nearby context.

Exploded View

The building use three main architectural components. 1. EverPanel System made from recycled plastic. This is a flexible wall system, by removing or installing panels, the building can change use mode. 2. Channel Glass made from recycled glass. This is a translucent glass facade. Provide daylight and protect privacy. 3. Hemp Block is a sustainable material. This is the main structure of the building.
