Hi, my name is Jess! I am passionate about creating impactful and transformative designs for considerable real-life issues. I enjoy tackling difficult subject matter and considering how visual language can become compelling, and overall, enhance the influential work and communication of others. My specialisation in brand identity has taught me how to create coherent identities involving publication, digital and print design. I hope my work in our ‘Activation’ studio resonates with you, and perhaps implores you to think about the quality of our current healthcare system, and how it could do with a reform to help improve the access for all citizens.

Excellence in Theory

DemandXSupply Identity

The identity for this brief was created to resonate and connect with people. DemandXSupply refers to our current demands of the healthcare system, and the lack of supply in addressing our needs. The use of the disconnected arrows mimicking an 'X' symbol was used to reference an equilibrium; 'DemandXSupply, coming to an equilibrium in healthcare'.

DemandXSupply Microsite

The Demand X Supply microsite functions to give audience members access to participate in our activation from wherever they are around Australia as it is solely located in Melbourne's CBD. It was important, also, to give audience members access to important resources regarding access to healthcare that may help bridge some of the gaps they are experiencing.

DemandXSupply Instagram Campaign

The Instagram campaign follows a similar narrative to the Activation. The images designed are intended to be shared to personal Instagram profiles, allowing them to relate and perhaps, share a slice of their personal struggles with healthcare access in hopes others will resonate. This is all designed so that these issues can receive greater reach, and in turn enact change.

DemandXSupply Activation

The subject matter of this brief revolves around people and their needs of the healthcare system that are not currently being met. Research revealed that there is lots of barriers preventing people from, rightfully, accessing healthcare services. This Activation is intended to be placed right in the heart of Melbourne's CBD, and encourages participants to write down their demand of our current healthcare system and why it is not being supplied.
