Hi! My name is Evonne, I am a design / business student with a passion in brand marketing and different aspects of design. I am learning consistently and looking forward to further develop my skills in design. My final studio project is to create an activation campaign in which I have chosen to focus on E-waste. The aim to build awareness on the disposal of small e-waste which often end up in landfill and polluting our environment. The outcome range from the research produced to the results of the campaign.
'Activation: E-waste Research Design Kit'
For the discovering phase of the project we are required to gather information and data on our campaign. My research design kit consists of five activities for participants to complete in order to gather data on various aspect on how individuals manage their electronic waste.
The poster showcases the results gathered and summarised. Results incorporate the awareness of whether individuals know e-waste can be recycled, their top most used technological devices, how they dispose their e-waste and amount of electronics purchased per year. Statistics include both qualitative and quantitative data.
Activation: E-waste campaign poster
The poster for the campaign will be incorporated with the e-bins. The QR code allow individuals to access the website and collect points for the reward system implemented with the campaign.
'Activation: E-waste Campaign website'
The website entails information on where and how individuals can recycle e-waste, through various drop-off points. It also incorporates a rewards and points collection system from recycling e-waste through the QR code shown on the posters as a supporting outcome.
In collaboration with local supermarkets and petrol stations, the e-collect bins will be placed within proximity of these areas for convenience and accessibility. This is where individuals can drop their e-waste off.
