Questionnaire with ‘Maverick’

This diagram shows the mockup of the questionnaire, in which 10 participants were asked to reflect on the meaning of the characters in the picture, and to reflect on their introspective attitudes towards self-expression, which gave me a better understanding of the current situation of young people in relation to “autonomous expression”. The feedback from the participants allowed me to better understand the current situation of young people in relation to ‘autonomous expression’.a text can be important.

Loner in the Crowd

This poster is the result of a compilation I created after receiving the questionnaire. It shows the attitudes of the participants - young university students - towards self-presentation and the reasons behind the current situation. The use of data graphs gives a more vivid picture of the problems faced by the participants, the reasons why they are hindered and more objective data.

Tip Board with ‘Maverick’

To better explore people’s attitudes towards maverickism and to stimulate the expression of their willingness to be autonomous. I designed the prompt motivation board, an acrylic board with a high bright blue-orange colour to stimulate everyone who sees him, providing the board with a black and white water pen. The user can write on the board every day what they want to do and what words they want to express to motivate themselves and others to understand and thus go further in their self-expression.

Decorative painting with ‘Maverick’

To better explore people’s attitudes towards maverickism and to stimulate the expression of their willingness to be autonomous. I have designed decorative wall paintings that suggest autonomous expression. They include squares on the themes of listening, touching, hugging, self-respect, speech and behaviour. The aim is to give people the courage to express themselves and to live their unique attitude.

Sticky Notes with ‘Maverick’

To better explore people’s attitudes towards maverickism and to stimulate the expression of their willingness to be autonomous. I have designed sticky notes to prompt autonomous expression. They include squares on the themes of listening, touching, hugging, self-respect, speech and behaviour. The aim is to give people the courage to express themselves and to live their unique attitude.

Posters with ‘Maverick’

Based on the summary of the questionnaire and my thoughts on Maverick. I observed the dynamic behaviour of students within the school and made sketches to capture it and then designed a poster. The small differences in ordinary actions reflect the different character traits of each individual.
