Shuyi Zhu

At a very young age, in my country and in my life circle, I was a child who was good at drawing and had a good sense of aesthetics. My love affair with design began with my parents' expectations of me as a child and my grandfather's "exaggerated" praise of my drawing ability. Then one day when I grew up, I realised how big the world was, and after I entered Monash, I look back on these three years as a time of reawakening to design and a major improvement in self-cultivation. For me, design is no longer dependent on other people's approval to be satisfied. Rather, it is a wonderful journey of self-realisation.

Algae playground

This is the initial structural diagram of the algae park, which is a good start for the whole design and plays a key role. The study of algae continues to be explored in depth.

Algae Slides

This is a double slide structure. The unique shape combined with special 3D printing technology builds a world of algae growth.

The future of algae world

In the future, people's attention to the environment will be truly put into practice, and the exploration of energy will be more environmentally friendly. Algae will play an important role in the phenomenon of over-urbanization. The discovery of this special bio-material will be of great help in the construction of future cities.

Algae Roof

This is a roof built with 3D printing technology to connect the underground space with the ground. People can enter a world of biomaterial-algae cultivation through this roof.
