The project is called The Paw Park, which trying to create a space for people to meet and play with their dead pets.The whole project could be divided into several main parts, one is for recreating the pets connects to a customized room to play with pets, one is a restaurant connects to a hole playing installation, one is a slide for drifting. The process will be people put their dead pet’s fur into the recreating machine, the machine will analyze the data of the fur, including the color、fur’s length and texture. And the data will be processed into a basic robot, then the robot will transform just the same with the dead pet.

This is the recreating machine and customized room.People could choose what kind of environment they want to play with their pets such as their living room or bedroom.

This is the restaurant and hole playing installation on the front.For the hole playing installation, many dogs like to dig holes, people could customize what to put in the hole to better attracts their dogs.

This is the collage of the basic idea for The Paw Park. It was divided into two parts, one is to communicate with existing pets and playing with them, one is meeting dead pets.

This is from the project journal, it’s an image of my own cat playing with my dog. It’s quite interesting to see how different species playing together.
