The open kitchen, living, and dining room welcome them upon their entrance, giving them a familiar domestic environment. Allowing them to choose where they want to sit and watch or to engage in a conversation with others while making a cup of tea encourages self agency.

Laundry

We overlook what we have until we lose it. Despite its mundane nature, doing laundry was the most important aspect while being homeless. The facility enhances the idea of this mundane task into an important aspect during their journey to recovery and reminds them of their agency.
