The Common Place sits within the campus of Princes Hill Secondary College. The addition to the school serves as a learning commons, providing the school with a central meeting place, new main entrance, various learning typologies, an events space and wellbeing spaces - all dotted throughout the new precinct. With thought to adaptive reuse, sustainability and materiality, The Common Place is designed to celebrate the site’s heritage brutalist building, conforming to its rigid features, and enhancing the details with this new intervention.
