Sole, Sabbia, Segreti: The Survival of Italian Beach Culture, is a virtual exhibition and short film exploring the theme of 'Survival' in the digital age. Through raw 35 mm film photography, the project captures candid moments on Italian beaches, highlighting human connections, family bonds, and shared experiences. Meticulously curated, the exhibition emphasises the enduring importance of these connections in our society. The carefully selected photographs focus on five core themes—connections, relationships, surroundings, happiness, and relaxation—revealing diverse facets of Italian beach culture."

The Prahran publication delves into the suburb's rich history and modern vibrancy, unveiling its diverse layers. Titled "Layers of Prahran," the project peels back architectural shifts, cultural nuances, and lifestyle facets, capturing the suburb's unique identity. Using collage techniques, I layer photographs, textures, and diagrams to craft a visually rich narrative, highlighting Prahran's complexity. Strategic use of color enhances emotional resonance, connecting sensory experiences to the essence of Prahran. The project aims to present Prahran as a multifaceted 'place,' emphasizing its depth through curated themes, communication goals, and thoughtful visual strategy.

In my series "Playthey," shot on 35mm film, I explore the paradoxical era of 1953 middle America, drawing inspiration from Playboy's founding years. I captured the tension between gendered expectations and emerging queer culture through male-dominated sports, blending raw eroticism with a femme styling approach. The images encapsulate the interplay of strength in palette and line, juxtaposed with soft textures, revealing the complexities of human expression and desire within this intricate theme.
