Hi, I’m Lizzie a 3rd year Communication Designer. My survival project is called “Combating Consumption”. Inspired by completing my last semester of University at the Monash Prato Centre in Italy I researched into the fashion and textile industry. Combating Consumption is a accessible guide that informs people with an interest in fashion how to take initiatives to consume consciously through the idea that clothing is continuous. The guide is based on three steps of the fashion circular process: consuming, repairing and reusing, and recycling. Throughout my studio practice I have also specialised in typography, branding, packaging, illustration, publication design, marketing and advertising.

The A5 100% compostable guide is made from biodegradable and natural materials. The paper is dyed naturally with plants to produce bright and captivating colours across the spreads designed to engage the audience.

The Combating Consumption Instagram highlights sections of the guide through a digital format. This allows Combating Consumption to reach a larger audience and provide updates for places to shop and new information. @combating.consumption

RMIT Design Hub – Typography Design
This project is a typographic identity system derived and inspired by the RMIT Design Hub building. I have created a typographic system reflective of the building and brought it to life in a series of identity applications.
Run the Tan – Branding
Run the Tan is a branding project where I chose an event to rebrand its goals, values and aims communicating this through numerous visual assets including posters, merchandise and promotional guides.
