My name is Sheryl and I am a Communication Designer. My professional expertise involves the creation of visually compelling and highly functional designs. Editorial design, specializing in interactive books and poster design is also part of my design capabilities. A project called Your Educational Journey includes "MotivationBox" subscription kit, student notebook with planner pages, as well as an uplifting poster, which is an initiative that artfully portrays a rococo color palette and designs, when combined with aesthetic sensibility. This project's goal is to give students the confidence and drive they need to pursue their academic goals with renewed zeal.

Your Educational Journey - Motivation Box

This motivational box includes earphones in order to help students focus when doing their work or viewing lectures. A soothing essential oil is also provided to help students relax and create a comforting environment. A herbal tea bag and stress ball is also a part of the box to ensure students are stress relieved when doing their work.

Your Educational Journey - Book Planner

This book planner was created to guide students with their time management during their educational process. With different aspects of the journal allowing students to express their emotions using visual emoticons, along with answering guiding questions such as “their priorities for the week” or “things to do for the week”.

Your Educational Journey - Poster

The posters were created to offer students motivation and give them reassurance that we are here to assist them in their educational process. The poster was also created as an advertising tool to promote the motivational box, ensuring that students are aware of the product.

Design Research Kit

This Design Research Kit includes a questionnaire in order to gain insights regarding students positive or negative response towards education through question and answers sheet and the magnetic visuals provided.

The infographic poster was created to present the statistical data that has been collected. This revealed that despite students finding school overwhelming, they still recommend their fellow peers to take and continue their educational journey.This has influenced greatly on my campaign design outcome to help those who are feeling overwhelmed.
