My name is Yannie and I am a Melbourne based designer who is passionate about designing with a purpose. I strive to be a creative and visionary, producing impactful designs for people to interact with. I am also a student of business, majoring in marketing where I have developed an interest in designing bold identities involving creative copy as seen in my most recent activation project.

ZERO PERCENT X ZERO FEST

ZERO PERCENT is an organisation I developed who focuses on reducing the negative stigma around sobriety. More often than not, individuals associate a ‘good time’ with consuming alcohol. ZERO FEST was created by ZERO PERCENT as an alcohol-free festival with everything you would expect at a regular festival - just as much music, just as much food, just as much fun. Just no alcohol. Simple. The Festival is meant to highlight how it is possible to enjoy your time out with friends without the need to consume alcohol. ZERO FEST features alcohol-free drinks curated by ZERO PERCENT exclusive to the festival.

DESIGN RESEARCH KIT

Prior to building my ZERO PERCENT campaign, Design Research Kits were delivered to a number of participants to complete. These Research Kits included a series of activities and questions which provided insight to individuals alcohol consumption behaviours.

Elements of ZERO FEST were designed to be put up around the location including a site map and flag posts.

Posters were designed to promote the ZERO FEST featuring the ZERO PERCENT logo.

ZERO PERCENT

I developed two slogans for ZERO PERCENT to promote their campaigns year long. "No Booze, No Boo's" and "Let's not lose it if there's no booze in it". Both encapsulate the organisation's goal to remove the negative reaction around someone's choice to not consume alcohol.
