The Educator's Creative Toolkit
Education is a catalyst for transformation, and educators stand at the forefront of shaping our future leaders. In response to the pressing need for increased support and acknowledgment of educators, this project aims to empower them by delving into and cultivating emerging creative practices within the educational sphere.
The goal is to provide educators with the tools and resources they need to design impactful, inclusive and value-driven learning experiences. Through the printed educator's creative toolkit, I hope to enable educators to claim agency and creative freedom to conceive and craft their value-based educational materials.
Creative Toolkit Components
The comprehensive creative toolkit includes four key elements: an instructional guide, an assortment of mix-and-match activities (featuring Target Tidbit, Value Voyages, and Crafty Collage), a tri-fold reflection booklet, and a visual package containing cut-and-paste visuals and stickers.
Instruction Guide
The instruction guide adopts a newspaper-style design, providing a detailed, step-by-step explanation for each creative tool. This instruction guide will be conveniently printed on a single A3-sized for ease of navigation and lower cost.
Visual Pack
The Visual Pack serves as a valuable support tool: containing a variety of visual content and stickers. This resource aids educators in completing activities featured in both the Mix and Match section and the Reflection Booklet.
Mix N Match
The Mix and Match toolset comprises three distinct tools: Target Tidbits, Value Voyages and Crafty Collage. When used sequentially, these tools serve as innovative and unconventional creative practices. They would be valuable aids for educators as they embark on the journey of crafting their own value-based learning materials.
