My project is the future vegetable planting base to cope with the desertification environment caused by the greenhouse effect.
This design aims at a future where desertification threatens global food security and ecological balance. To combat desertification, I designed an underground vegetable base using groundwater resources and equipped it with above-ground observation rooms to meet this challenge.

Underground Oasis

underground planting part

The underground vegetable base is an efficient agricultural system that can grow a
variety of vegetables and crops in desertified areas by using underground water
sources. Such bases not only conserve water but also reduce soil erosion and
evaporation, improving crop yield and quality. At the same time, the underground
vegetable base can also reduce the demand for limited land resources, thereby
reducing the pressure of land desertification.

above-ground

In addition to underground planting areas, the base also has above-ground
observation rooms. Through transparent, flexible solar panel materials, the energy of
desert sunlight is fully converted for underground use.
