Eco-Play: A Future of Urban Play
Eco-Play project epitomizes my vision of combining art, science, and technology to create innovative and sustainable design. In this project, we're looking a century ahead, where advanced technology and play equipment coexist to tackle urban pollution. The project revolves around the idea of using kinetic energy generated through play to accelerate air purification. Microalgae-filled containers and aerators are ingeniously integrated into the urban landscape, creating pockets of fresh air for city dwellers. It offers spaces for relaxation, physical activity, and a platform for observing the microalgae's role in air purification.
In the spirit of reconciliation Monash University acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We pay our respect to their elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
