Beautiful is Boring
"Beautiful is Boring" explores the complex territory between the concepts of 'beauty' and 'ugliness,' aiming to spark conversations about societal expectations and standards placed on individuals. The centrepiece of this project features a model painted entirely in royal blue, adopting poses commonly found in magazines such as Vogue. However, the artwork's purpose goes beyond satire; it also seeks to question the idealized beauty standards often promoted in such magazines and prevalent in our society.
