If there is one thing I have learnt from losing my mum, it’s that time waits for no one.
This series of works reflect the phases of my grief. Initially, I portrayed the liminal state of mind brought on by anticipating the worst. The second phase depicts a barren household after her passing, where the uncertainty was replaced by tremendous loss. As my mother's culture brings me comfort, the final phase is Hungarian-patterned pots, which are broken and reassembled.
Az élet anyád nélkül olyan mint a sötét éjszaka, ahol a csillagfény hiányzik.
