As a woman who grew up in a traditional Chinese family, I am profoundly influenced by the pervasive expectations surrounding beauty and identity. Through the medium of sculpture, I confront and transcend these constraints. I work with diverse materials, reshaping and reimagining them to give form to the internal conflicts and the profound journey of self-discovery I've undertaken. The work becomes a three-dimensional embodiment of my inner turmoil and the gradual awakening of my sense of self.

Felt wraps my sculptures like a protective embrace for women of all ages. Vibrant colours mirror my emotional journey, while irregular drapes and punctures reveal inner conflicts. These pieces embody the psychological struggles of women under societal scrutiny, encompassing look/body anxiety, beauty standards, dieting, and female competitiveness. I aim to expose the multifaceted female experience, bridging my inner world with the audience to explore the intricate layers of female identity and self-evolution.
