My proposal for Fisherman’s Bend is a sound gallery that fuses the site’s industrial past with a sensory experience of present sounds. Positioned between the shooting range and go-kart area, it reimagines the site’s raw energy through immersive soundscapes, capturing and altering environmental sounds. By night, it becomes a live performance stage, strengthening the connection between sound, space, and community. Using metal offcuts and filings—symbols of the area’s manufacturing history—the gallery’s structure embodies transformation, from scrap to structure, silence to sound. Designed to evolve, the gallery is a future cultural hub that adapts to Fisherman’s Bend’s changing needs.
