Kinesphere

This design studio aims to revitalise a regional arts community by transforming the historic Lorne Theatre (1937) into a dynamic, multipurpose arts precinct using experimental architectural practices and choreographic processes. Students have created bold architectural visions to stimulate artistic innovation and boost regional economies through cultural tourism. Embracing a multifaceted creative civic approach, the studio seeks to redefine the role of historical landmarks in fostering positive community transformations, promoting inclusive and sustainable development while challenging conventional human-centered design paradigms.
