Reshaping the Botanic Ridge Sandbox
My work on the rehabilitation of the Botanic Ridge sandbox focuses on restoring ecological balance and enhancing the area’s biodiversity potential. This project involved designing strategies to rehabilitate a previously degraded site by integrating native vegetation and supporting local wildlife which included threatened species like the Peregrine Falcons and the southern brown Bandicoots. The project also proposes ideas on enhancing ecological connection and species movement within The Botanic Ridge and its surrounding to aid in the preservation of local wildlife.
