Quarry Futures: Regenesis The project name is "Regenesis", which is a renovation project of the current Lysterfield Quarries. The project includes four principles: education, energy, ecology and public realm. The goal is to transform the site into a sustainable and eco-friendly area that would be integrated into local community life and provide educational and tourist functions.

“To make Lysterfield a better place for everyone.” We will transform Lysterfield Quarries, a City of Knox precinct, into a dynamic public space with a renewable energy hub, innovative education centre and wetland with ecological integration with Lysterfield Park.
Visions
Education Centre, Algae Power Station, Experimental Laboratories, Solar Farm, Microgrid, Mobility Hub, Active Transport, Wetland Park, Ecological Restoration, Open Spaces, Reserve, etc. are set up to meet the multiple functions of the project and ensure that this project can develop sustainably.
