Hi, I’m Heena, a recent Communication Design graduate with a passion for branding, identity, UX/UI, and digital illustration. I am passionate about specialising in branding, developing the skills and insights needed to create unique identities that not only attract audiences but also connects deeply with them. I enjoy creating designs that are fun, playful, and approachable, using lively, colourful visuals to make each project enjoyable and engaging for the audience. Outstanding Project: Identity Design

Unplug & Play, Campaign

Unplug & Play is a campaign, designed to encourage families to engage in real-world play and unplug from digital devices. Targeting families with children aged 1 to 12, the project utilizes playful and vibrant visuals to raise awareness of the harmful impact of excessive screen time on kids’ social, emotional, and cognitive development. With its approachable design, the campaign incorporates interactive elements to inspire families to participate in screen-free activities. In essence, the campaign aims to help parents create a healthy balance between screen time and moments of unplugged play.

Unplug & Play, Posters

The Unplug & Play posters works as a reminder for families to reduce screen time and prioritise real-world play for children. The campaign posters features vibrant colors and playful illustrations with message that highlights the impact of digital devices and motivates both parents and kids to embrace real world interactions and play.

Unplug & Play, Campaign Components

The Unplug & Play campaign features a variety of engaging elements designed to promote screen-free play and educate families. An informative brochure provides a concise overview of the benefits of real-world play, while interactive pop-out character cards encourage children to explore the joy of offline activities through playful characters. Additionally, a mini storybook highlights the importance of real-world play over screen time through the adventures of beloved characters. Complementing these materials, vibrant stickers with catchy phrases serve as rewards for children who participate in screen-free activities.

Unplug & Play, Screen Limiting App

To make screen time managing easier for families, the campaign introduces the Unplug & Play screen-limiting app, designed to help parents set screen limits for their children and foster healthier habits while encouraging real-world play. With its user-friendly and engaging interface, the app features tools such as setting screen limits, scheduling screen-free activities, and providing rewards for kids who make progress in spending time away from screens.

Melbourne Garden Show, Identity Design

The Melbourne Garden Show is a flower show featuring the best landscape and floral talent from Australia and around the world. The project involved the redesign of the brand with an aim to enhancing brand recognition with an updated visual identity that encompasses a vibrant colour palette, modern typography, and engaging graphic elements, all aimed at capturing the spirit of the show.

A Bold Voice, Identity Design

‘A bold Voice’ project involved designing a compelling identity for an exhibition featuring the artist Aretha Brown. The final outcome centers around a microsite that serves as an informative hub for the exhibition, showcasing details about Brown’s work. Complementing the microsite, A comprehensive wayfinding system, set of gallery banners and various merchandise items were designed that reflects Brown's bold and fierce voice.
