Monash Art, Design and Architecture Graduate Exhibition 2024

For me, design is a powerful tool that impacts social and everyday lives. I’m a
communication design/business student. I focus on storytelling, solving social
problems for organizations by building brand identity, considering typography, and
creating visual elements for user experience and business optimization. I aim to make
designs both communicative and interactive, combining creativity with functionality to
address social and cultural issues.

In the 2024 semester, I created an interactive game called WONDER MARKET for
children aged 5 to 8 that teaches shopping, currency, and basic math. The game fosters learning and decision-making, with a guide for
easy understanding.

WONDER MARKET SHELF(Empty)

The empty shelf with hook-sided Velcro dots is ready
for kids to fill with their favourite market items, creating
a personalized shopping experience.

WONDER MARKET CURRENCY(Notes & Coins)

The WONDER MARKET virtual currency helps children recognize different denominations, making it easy to practice counting and understanding the value of money.

WONDER MARKET Items(with Price tags)

Velcro-backed items let kids pick up, "buy," and arrange products on the shelf, turning learning into an interactive and engaging experience.

WONDER MARKET Publication(General View)

The workbook includes activities that use real prices from the game, helping kids practice essential math skills while having fun.

WONDER MARKET SHELF(With Items sticked)

The shelf is now filled with colourful fruits, meats, and household essentials, each with its price tag, ready for kids to "shop" and use for workbook activities.

WONDER MARKET Publication(Writing)

As kids shop, they solve fun math problems in the workbook, reinforcing their learning in a hands-on way.
