Monash Art, Design and Architecture Graduate Exhibition 2024

Hi, I’m Sasha. I’m a communication designer specialising in identity design. I love to work on projects that include illustration and enjoy making playful graphic language for unique businesses. Working with different styles is what makes communication design so enjoyable. Outside of design, I am interested in fitness, dogs and food. Some of these interests can be reflected in my design projects this year.

Aaofm Packaging

This campaign imagines a world with strict food marketing guidelines, where the governmental body AAOFM (Australian Association of Food Marketing) is responsible for the packaging and labelling of all food products. The AAOFM empowers customers to choose healthier products and encourages consumers to be interested in what goes into the food they eat.

Sea Shepherd Rebrand

Sea Shepherd is a direct-action marine conservation organisation. This not-for-profit organisation is strong in its beliefs and works hard to protect our oceans. This rebrand focused on attracting a wider audience. The logo has been adapted from their well-known trademark with the aim to make it more inviting to a less radical audience.

InTouch Brand Guidelines

Intouch is a not-for-profit organisation that provides services, programs, and responses to family violence in migrant and refugee communities. This project aimed to rebrand the organisation's identity to better connect with its audience. This project focused on language with over 100+ countries making up Intouch’s client base.

Tracey Moffatt Exhibition Website

Tracey Moffatt is one of Australia’s most well-known contemporary artists, predominantly working with photography and film. She is known for her stylistic experimentation and photo-narratives. This project was an identity for an exhibition of her work at the State Library Victoria. My identity stems from the idea of Moffatt’s work being theatrical. Her work is often heavily constructed in the same way a set for a play or short film is organised, which drew from her love of popular culture, especially television, as well as the visual arts. Because of this, I’ve drawn inspiration from film scripts for the identity.

World Games Day Cards

This deck of cards was made in celebration of World Games Day. The designs focus on well-known games as well as movies featuring games such as poker, chess and mahjong.

Trac App Identity

‘Trac’ is an innovative new running app that plans and tracks your run with a focus on mental wellbeing. Trac targets runners from all walks of life no matter what stage they are in their running ability. Trac strives to help people achieve their best by focusing on a calm state of mind. My Identity is intended to make running less daunting. It aims to be motivating and inspiring but in a calming way rather than an intense way. Trac wants people to get out there and not worry about how far or fast they can run but focus on the mental benefits running brings.
