As an Industrial Designer, I am driven by the creativity involved in innovation, exploration, and problem-solving. My work examines the inequalities of education across Victoria, particularly in early high school, and seeks sustainable and accessible solutions. Through my project, I hope to inspire viewers to engage with its open-source design and explore the endless possibilities made possible by this revolutionary technology.

HOVERGRAM

HOVERGRAM transforms learning by utilizing the ‘Pepper’s Ghost’ technique to create captivating 3D experiences. Users can customize their own HOVERGRAMs, uploading 3D object scans to generate videos. The app offers resources aligned with the Year 7-9 curriculum and promotes community sharing to support teachers. Designed for accessibility, it empowers students to choose patterns and build HOVERGRAM projectors from templates, available in both individual and classroom modes. With endless possibilities, HOVERGRAM makes education engaging and interactive for everyone.

Recycled PLA

This option involves measuring the device and inputting the dimensions into a template. A PLA sheet is then laser-cut, and the finished template is mailed to the user for self-assembly. The PLA version offers color choices, allowing users to design their own cutout shapes for the HOVERGRAM.

DIY HOVERGRAM

Another service offered is custom templates created from the device’s dimensions. Users can personalize shapes, colors, and patterns, fostering mindfulness and a deeper connection to the tool, which can spark a greater interest in learning.
