Motivated by a desire for more meaningful interactions with my cat, I created Craft Kit-ty—a DIY card game for cat owners designed to make crafting safe, engaging, and sustainable toys easy and fun. My goal was to provide peace of mind with toy safety while also offering a creative and lasting solution to reduce waste through upcycling. Craft Kit-ty meets cat owners’ needs for transparency, safety, and sustainability in an interactive card game format. Using simple, reusable materials, players turn everyday items into enjoyable play experiences, fostering stronger bonds with their pets and supporting sustainable practices.

To play Craft Kit-ty, you’ll only need standard crafting tools, as the game encourages players to source materials directly from what’s around the home. Each session invites you to get creative with common items in new ways, transforming them into unique toys without needing extra supplies.
Mix-and-Match
With no player limit, players can collaborate on a shared project or each work on their own, making for an easy and enjoyable “crafternoon” filled with DIY fun.
Play Value
By learning how to safely and effectively reuse materials, Craft Kit-ty projects allow owners to create toys with extended play value, specially tailored to their cat’s preferences. Most projects require no adhesives, making it easy to take apart and reuse materials for future creations.

Craft Kit-ty’s community allows users to share photos of their pets and creations, swap ideas, and join in on monthly challenges and themed photo submissions. The platform is regularly updated with new ideas, materials, and challenges, making it a creative, ever-growing space to inspire owners to bond with their pets through fun, sustainable projects.
