The studio questions breaking down notions of cybernetic/virtual networks as the dominant mode of human interaction. Autonomy is to be reclaimed by re-engaging the physical via ‘life-suits’ which augment and empower the individual whilst allowing for communal cooperation. The studio is focused on designing physical, anarchy cellular ‘life-suits’: individual suit systems for extreme environments. Life-suits must allow humans to function as ‘cells’ in a community (organism) yet provide individual means for resource generation and/or sustenance of life.
