Ethan Zohar is a Master of Architecture student at Monash University as well as a Design Intern at Figurehead Construction who is driven, motivated, and committed to maintaining a strong work ethic. Ethan takes initiative in workplace situations and demonstrate responsibility and respect toward others. Ethan is eager to take on new challenges and view feedback as an opportunity to grow. His experience volunteering with young individuals with both social and learning disabilities has strengthened my empathy and communication skills. Ethan is passionate about supporting those around him to achieve their best and approach every task with enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
Tottenham to Table
Tottenham, long defined by disconnection, is reimagined as an active community hub uniting living, working, and social spaces through food as a catalyst for connection. Once dominated by industry and lacking social infrastructure, the suburb transforms into a circular ecosystem where produce is cultivated, processed, shared, and composted on-site. Residential apartments accommodate those who live and work within this system, fostering continuous engagement with community infrastructure. Through architecture and program, the project reframes Tottenham’s industrial identity into one of belonging, sustainability, and collective regeneration.

This hybrid drawing encapsulates the collection of buildings and programs that form the project. Atmospheric, textured collaging conveys the materiality of each structure and illustrates how the design negotiates the balance between retaining the site’s existing industrial character and creating a welcoming, safe environment for community use.
Key Moves Diagram
In the Making City studio, students explored strategies for integrating architectural design with urban planning principles to transform industrial contexts into socially connected, productive precincts. The studio focused on developing a set of repeatable design guidelines that could be applied to similar post-industrial sites, ensuring efficient, adaptable, and community-driven architectural outcomes. The following diagram illustrates the key steps I utilised within this process.
