An investigation into the materialization of power systems in Australian architecture, and the desert frontier. Examining mining hierarchy through vertical infrastructures that function to sustain the extraction + forms of occupation that operate at scales larger than the human experience. Within the convoluted scaffolding of the mining industry, the body becomes displaced; labor, land + community are rendered invisible beneath the monumental structures of efficiency, logistics and corporate control.
