Hi, I’m Steph and I am an ambitious communication designer who has a passion for illustration, branding, print and multimedia design. I enjoy getting hands on during my projects, creating interesting compositions and outcomes using a range of different media. My design style is bold and energetic, allowing me to have fun and be experimental with my ideas. I love the journey of the design process and I want to create a real impact with my work. I aim to push myself creatively and I’m continuously seeking feedback for improvement. I have a strong passion for design and I am excited to see where the design world takes me.

Outstanding Project: Activation

Do You Mind Recycling? Publication

This publication is the primary outcome for my activation campaign titled: Do You Mind Recycling? This campaign looks at recycled materials from a new angle, exploring how they can be utilised in more experimental and fun recycling methods This publication is a guide, showcasing fun recycling tips alongside education about the materials themself.

Do You Mind Recycling? Stickers

These stickers are another asset in my activation campaign titled: Do You Mind Recycling? The stickers allow the campaign to be placed anywhere, helping spread it's impact and accessibility. The stickers utilise the three main colours from the publication, making them bold and easy to spot on busy and crowded surfaces.

Recycled Light Installation

This light installation contains two completely different light fixtures that are made from 100% recycled materials. They are apart of my activation campaign titled: Do You Mind Recycling? This light installation is a representation of how creative and experimental the audience can be with their recycled materials. It acts as an extreme example, hoping to encourage the audience to participate more consciously when they are recycling.

Illustration Work

This is a compilation of some of my illustration work. I have a passion for all types of media, which is showcased here. I can use both digital and physical media to create cohesive and refined illustrations. I love including colour across all my illustrations, ensuring that they are vibrant and exciting.

Design Research Kit

This design research kit (DRK) formed the basis for my final activation campaign. The aim for this project was to collect data from users in an engaging way. This DRK got users to participate in a game of memory. After this game they were assigned a recycling task, in the hopes of getting them more invested in recycling. This project highlights my expertise in printing, as it demonstrates many different and exciting printing outcomes.

Velora

The brand Velora is an fitness app that aims to help people feel more connected to their overall health. The brand identity focuses on the organs as this is a part of the body that everyone uses during physical activity. The goal for Velora is for users to feel included. This is achieved with the visual identity as the elements are focused on the activity's and sports, not on what the person looks like. It's about inclusivity and encouragement of mental and physical wellbeing.
