I’m James Worsfold, a communication designer focused on clear storytelling, bold composition, and audience impact. I’m interested in how storytelling, humour, and visual identity shape what we notice and trust. My work spans playful brand worlds, educational storytelling, speculative/digital pieces, and research-led campaigns. Across projects, I turn complex ideas into accessible visuals that make people pause, look closer, and remember.
ECO-FILES: Control Through Illusion
ECO-FILES is a communication design campaign that exposes how greenwashing manipulates trust in “eco-friendly” branding. The series includes posters, stickers, and public activations that reveal the illusion of sustainability used by major corporations. Created using Photoshop, Illustrator, and mixed media textures, the works were designed for both public display and digital presentation, inviting audiences to question what’s real in environmental marketing.
ECO-FILES: Spot the Signs Sticker Pack
Part of the ECO-FILES: Control Through Illusion campaign, this sticker series translates research on greenwashing into public action. Each sticker highlights a “sign” of deceptive eco-branding, including vague claims, no proof, and future promises. Designed for real-world distribution, the packs encourage people to question environmental marketing. Created using Illustrator, Photoshop, and mixed media textures.

This donut box design highlights indulgence and simplicity through bright contrasts and a cheerful mascot. Created in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, the packaging shows how humour and design can turn everyday moments into something fun and memorable.
Chill Bills — Coffee Cup Series
Part of the Chill Bills brand identity, this illustrated coffee cup series brings the café’s relaxed and humorous tone into everyday moments. Each cup features the frog mascot “Bill” alongside bright colour palettes and playful typography, designed to make people smile. Created in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, the series extends the café’s signature tagline “Why Not Just Chill?” through bold, character-driven design that celebrates fun, comfort, and community.
