集 (Gather) is a pop-up event in Melbourne that is created in response to the social issue of the declining use of ethnic languages within Melbourne’s diverse cultural communities. Though we are surrounded with vast amount of different cultures and languages, monolingual English practice became the prominent and most convenient choice of communication in Melbourne. This event invites people to interact with and celebrate language, encouraging participants to reconnect with and appreciate the diverse and beautiful cultures that make up Melbourne’s global community.
Europe Picture Book
Europe picture book is a personal project that is a compilation of my images, sketches, diary entries and collected scraps from my trip to Europe in 2024. It is a one coloured riso printed book on Envirocare and laser printed book sleeve on semi-transparent stock.
Fairtype
Fairtype is a humanist sans-serif typeface inspired by the Melbourne Art Book Fair and the creative community surrounding it. Fairtype draws inspiration from flat nib pen’s fluid curves and the timeless craft of bookmaking. The type captures the innate quality that comes from printing, binding, and ink bleeds.
Today I can... Poster Series
Today I Can…is an illustrative interactive poster project that is four-colour risograph printed. This project is a playful campaign with an agenda to tackle the problem of food and drinks economic inflations within the university environment.
It has a total of three posters each consisted of details based on actual food and drinks economic prices on university campus.
Abode 318 Custom Modular Typeface
This project is a custom typeface designed based upon the luxury apartment building Abode located on 318 Russell Street. It is a modular typeface inspired by the structure of the building and is used in application within Abode's identity including pamphlets, street signs, business cards and so forth.
入目Through the Eyes
Through the Eyes is a hand crafted reflexive book that explores multiple different and random topics through loose associations. As you flip through the pages, the topics will guide you through a theme of human sensations and perceptions of life, and how these understandings inevitably disappear or end through passing time.
In the spirit of reconciliation Monash University acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We pay our respect to their elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
