Sherry Ruoyu Han

Sherry Ruoyu Han is an emerging curator and artist based in Narrm/Melbourne. She is currently completing a double degree in Art History and Curating and Business at Monash University. Her practice and research explore cross-cultural curating, participatory and collaborative aesthetics, and feminist and queer approaches to contemporary creative expression.

和而不同 (He er bu tong) – A Third Way of Harmony

The research project, 和而不同 (He er bu tong) – A Third Way of Harmony, draws upon Taoist philosophy and Homi Bhabha’s concept of the “Third Space” to propose a curatorial methodology that sustains difference without assimilation, envisioning harmony as a dynamic and relational mode of coexistence.
