Wuzhong District Delegation Explores Collaboration with Monash Engineering
The Monash Faculty of Engineering welcomed a government delegation from Suzhou’s Wuzhong District on 7 March, led by the District Chairman. Discussions focused on fostering future collaborations across research, education, and commercialisation. Wuzhong District—centrally located in Suzhou within the Yangtze River Delta economic hub—boasts significant industrial and economic development, including over 1,200 foreign-invested enterprises and a GDP exceeding USD 28 billion in 2024. The visit highlighted shared ambitions to build strong academic-industry-government partnerships across strategic innovation sectors.
