Our partners

Communicating Health partners work with the investigators & research team to design, refine and test target health content. The partners are from government, academia, industry and non-government national organisations and will contribute to the immediate translation of the outcomes into practice.

  • The peak body for the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal people living in Victoria. VACCHO is the leading advocate for the health of Aboriginal people in Victoria and a peak organisation to its Membership.

  • A world-first health promotion foundation, VicHealth focuses on promoting good health and preventing chronic disease.

  • Nutrition Australia is a non-government, non-profit, community based-organisation with offices throughout Australia. Nutrition Australia is an independent, member organisation that aims to promote the health and wellbeing of all Australians.

  • Aspiring for all Victorians to be healthy, safe and able to lead a life they value. The Department of Health and Human Services delivers policies, programs and services that support and enhance the health and wellbeing of all Victorians.

  • Cancer Council Victoria is a not-for-profit organisation which aims to reduce the impact of cancer in Victoria. It is an independent body that advises various groups, including government, on cancer-related issues

  • Our CommHealth team are members of the Victorian Healthy Eating Enterprise (VHEE), a State Government initiative to support disease prevention in Victoria. The VHEE is a partnership with local government, business, industry, health professionals and communities.

  • Janette Kendall

    Non-Executive Director

    Janette is an experienced company director with more than 23 years board experience across public, private and not-for-profit organisations. Janette is currently a Non-Executive Director of Vicinity Centres (ASX: VCX), Costa Group (ASX: CGC), Nine Entertainment (ASX: NEC), Wellcom Worldwide (ASX: WLL), and The Melbourne Theatre Company. Her past executive experience, both in Australia and China, combined marketing, digital and operations. Janette has significant expertise in strategic planning, digital innovation, marketing and leadership across a number of industry sectors.

  • Moira Dean

    Queen's University Belfast

    Moira Dean has expertise in food choice and consumer behaviour, the psychology of food choice and risk perceptions, the application of social psychological models to food choice and dietary change She will assist in the qualitative and quantitative methodologies, the assessment of attitudes, values, perceptions and barriers associated with food and health.

  • David Menzies

    South Eastern Melbourne PHN Manger Chronic Disease Programs

    David Menzies (formerly Fitness Australia) has expertise in physical activity, preventive health, population health, health behaviour change and chronic disease management. He will contribute his expertise and knowledge from the fitness industry and prevention in general in a young target group particularly a young male target group.
