DRIVERS 2023 Pre-Conference Workshops

Early career doctors need research on their CVs more than ever. The DRIVERS 2023 Research Incubators are a series of DRIVERS 2023 pre-conference workshops that support you to get started in research.

In this practical four-part workshop series, Professor Frank Bowden, Associate Professor Janelle Brennan and the DRIVERS Steering Committee will take you through the first steps into research, practising evidence-based medicine, and help you find a research project that you can start now. Strengthen your research skills by learning how to form a good research question; understand research ethics, effectively manage data; create a powerful and engaging presentation of your findings; and maximise your networks.

All clinical year medical students,  interns, pre-vocational doctors, registrars and fellows will be supported and consultants are welcome to join. These workshops have been designed by the DRIVERS 2023 Steering Committee and are supported by Monash Rural Health’s North West Victorian Regional Training Hub.
