Female engineering student with industrial robot

Studying Robotics Engineering at Monash has been an incredible journey for me. As a female student in engineering, I've found a supportive community that truly values diversity. I've been involved in various clubs and societies, like Women in Engineering (WEM), which have enriched my university life and helped me gain experience and connections in the engineering field. Being part of the Monash Nova Rover team was a particular highlight; I met so many like-minded people and formed some of my closest friendships. The diversity on the team has been fantastic, with many women like myself pursuing competitive engineering specializations, such as robotics and electrical engineering.

Living on campus has also been a wonderful experience—everything is within easy reach! Classes are just a short walk away, and there are so many great places to eat. After classes, I enjoy joining various activities, like cooking classes or dance clubs, all just a few steps away. I've also built a wonderful community in my on-campus accommodation, where I've met people from all over the world."
