I’ve really had a blast studying here, learning design theories and critically applying design practices into my work was very fulfilling. From design methodologies like co-design, critical design, decolonisation, and speculative design, the curriculum really sparked a new-found interest in the many ways designers interpret design and how it applies to industry. I also love that our lecturers share their industry experience, the projects they’ve worked on, as well as their successes and failures. Our lecturers are always happy to hear differing thoughts and opinions, and we are always encouraged to speak our minds. Lecturers openly engage with students respectfully, never downplaying our thoughts or feelings on any particular subject matter.

My most memorable experience was when I had the pleasure of interning at WonderLab as a 3D modeller under Dr Ilya Fridman. I worked on a project called "Robots in Public Space" in which we speculated how robots might appear in public space and how the general public might react to them. I applied my experience in 3D modelling software, such as Fusion 360, Rhinoceros, and Blender, to create animations for the project."
