Back to research highlights

Our diverse COVID-19 research portfolio included clinical projects investigating COVID-19 treatments and the natural history of long COVID-19; identifying physical, mental and social health impacts of lockdowns, and recommending recovery measures; projecting the course of the pandemic and efficacy of interventions to limit transmission, and much more.

Our policy, implementation and subject matter experts continued to engage with governments, the medical sector, community groups and industry to embed our knowledge in evidence-based policies, guidelines, procedures and programs to effectively reduce the impact of the pandemic on society.
