The long awaited sequel to your favorite learning analytics reference book - the Handbook of Learning Analytics - is finally here. The 2nd Edition of the Handbook provides a snapshot of the field in 2022 and features a range of prominent authors from the learning analytics and adjacent research communities. The release party panel will answer questions from the audience as well as describe the purpose and motivations of the Handbook, the different ways that people (especially students) might use it, why there needs to be an updated version and what the collection of work tells us about the field and its evolution.
