Music Project 2 - Wind

Listening to the Elements is a community-engaged project supported by the Monash Centre for Consciousness and Contemplative Studies (M3CS).

It brings together original contemplative music, breathwork, and elemental meditation in a shared, immersive experience.

Performed by an ensemble of Melbourne-based musicians, the program features six original compositions by Benjamin Dix, Gidi Ifergan, and Shaun Rigney, each inspired by one of the five elements: earth, water, fire, air, and space, enhancing their harmonisation. Guided breath and mindfulness practices, led by Beata Heymann of Breath Circle, support a deep, embodied experience of each element, generating clarity, vitality, and inner connection.
