CD8+ T Cell Immunity and Ageing
My laboratory investigates the key extrinsic and intrinsic factors regulating effective T cell development, activation, and immune responses, and how these are perturbed in the elderly.

CD8+ T cell immunity is critical for the effective elimination of viruses and control of tumours. Our research uses advanced cellular and molecular approaches to interrogate the key drivers of effective CD8+ T cell responses. Our lab uses a wide range of molecular and cellular techniques to understand these drivers so that they may be exploited to confer optimal immunity, as well as understanding how they go awry in the elderly or in autoimmune conditions, ultimately allowing us to target these factors in a clinical context.
We are committed to excellence in research.

We're always interested in collaborating with bright and motivated researchers, clinicians and industry. Whether you want to research, study or partner with us to accelerate our discoveries, find out about the work we do.
