The Moseley lab actively engages with diverse media outlets to communicate science to a broad range of stakeholders. News from the lab. since 2018 includes:

- Interviews with The Guardian (UK), 2GB Radio, Xinhua News Agency (New China News Agency), J-AIR radio
- Coverage in The Guardian (UK), The Australian and syndication (AAP), The Asian Age, Business Standard, Daily Post, Daily Sun, Malaysia Sun, Tunis Daily News, La Tercera, New Kerala Deccan Chronicle, Bangla Mirror, Wall Street online, La Vanguardia, Medical Express, Brightsurf, Scicasts etc.
- Social media coverage includes 38,000 up votes on Reddit for news on rabies virus vaccines
For other media communication in the virology sphere, Greg has acted as Scientific advisor during development of a TV documentary on virus outbreaks for PBS Nova, provided expert opinion on rabies vaccines for New Scientist, and by-line print articles (e.g. Herald Sun, Sunday Mail) and interviews on COVID-19.
Greg is strongly engaged in programs for advancement and advocacy in the fields of virology, infectious disease, and immunology, holding multiple leadership roles in societies and conference organisation including The Australasian Virology Society, Lorne Conferences, and Victorian Infection & Immunity Network.
