A woman who inspired you and why? 

My grandmother, who was the first university graduate in her family (in 1940s). Being the founding principal of a leading girls school, she went on to inspire a generation of hard-working women who excelled in all walks of life. I continue to be inspired with how she balanced her beloved profession along with raising 5 exemplary children!

What achievement/s are you the most proud of?

Successfully leading the development of new technology to support the university's assessment/invigilation requirements during 2020; this was done in a really tight time frame to enable Monash to continue to effectively assess students despite COVID limitations

What are your views on the role of mentoring or sponsorship for women aspiring to be leaders? 

Active mentoring/coaching of women aspiring to move into leadership roles plays a key role in their success. One on one mentoring enables women to share their concerns/limitations, gain specific insights/advice and develop the required confidence to successfully move towards leadership roles.
