In 2016, Yutan developed a strong interest in the intersection of biology and engineering.  He was fascinated by the possibilities of using technology to solve complex medical problems and graduated with a Bachelor of Biomedical Engineering (Honours), University of Sydney.

After completing his undergraduate studies, Yutan decided to pursue a Master's degree in Data Science at Monash University. He was intrigued by the importance of analysing and interpreting data to gain insights and make informed decisions. His coursework focused on statistical modelling and data visualization, among other skills.

Currently Yutan is a PhD candidate at Monash University. His research focuses on the use of artificial intelligence artificial intelligence in persona-based adaptive user interface designs. His project aims at developing more personalized and effective user interfaces by utilising AI algorithms that can adapt to individual users' needs and preferences.
